Network Technologies Support

Our support organization builds on the experience and reputation we have gained over two decades working with the world's most demanding customers including networking equipment manufacturers such as Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco Systems, IBM, Nokia Siemens Networks and Nortel.

Network software code is complex, often amounting to hundreds of thousands of lines of code. By licensing pre-developed, pre-tested network software products from Metaswitch, our customers can provide protocol capabilities on their platforms at a fraction of the cost of developing the same function in-house. And with Metaswitch's professional services, training services and support they can integrate, test and deploy those capabilities in very aggressive timescales.

Each customer is able to select a combination of these services, tailored to their particular requirements. Should any customer find that they have specialist requirements that are not covered by the services described here, then we are happy to discuss a customized service to address these requirements.

In all cases, our approach to support is that, just like development, it requires first-rate engineers with detailed knowledge and problem-solving ability. In fact, many of our engineers move between the development and support teams, which ensures that

  • the support team benefits from a full flow of knowledge from the engineering side
  • the engineers developing the product have an understanding for real world customer support and deployment issues.
