This chapter introduces file transfer and describes the features provided by the SNAP-IX AS/400 file transfer program.
The SNAP-IX AS/400 file transfer program provides access to the AS/400 transfer function program. The SNAP-IX file transfer program is a stand-alone application that is accessible from the Solaris command line. This interface is compatible with that used by IBM's PC Support/400 program .
The command to run the file transfer program is:
sna400ft
This command is followed by one of the following keywords, which specifies the type of file transfer operation which will be carried out:
send
receive
list
transfer
